An advanced lube technician job involves performing preventative maintenance and light repairs on vehicles, with a focus on lubrication services, but also including more complex tasks1. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with diagnostic equipment and hand tools, and the ability to provide excellent customer service2.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance: Performing oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and top-offs, and other routine maintenance tasks3.
Light Repairs: May include tasks like brake adjustments or replacements, spark plug changes, and tire rotations and replacement4.
Vehicle Inspection: Conducting thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary services5.
Using Diagnostic Equipment: Utilizing diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance and identify potential problems6.
Maintaining Equipment and Shop: Ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and the work area is kept clean and organized7.
Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment8.
Record Keeping: Accurately recording all service and repair work completed9.
Compensation:
Hourly and based on experience on Advanced Lube experience, and on an hourly bases up front, paid weekly. Your estimated annual income is $35,000 to 45,000.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Successful completion of pre-employment screening
Authorization to work in the USA
